Prior to her start with Axiom, Whitney worked in the healthcare field for more than 10 years. First, serving the community as a Registered Nurse, then as an Occupational Therapist. Whitney holds a Bachelor of Art in Psychology from Florida Gulf Coast University and her Master’s in Occupational Therapy from the University of Florida. The bulk of her career has focus on the rehabilitation of a multitude of clients in Level One Trauma Hospitals. Whitney has also received her Certificate in Project Management through Syracuse University. We are excited to have her meticulous attention to detail gained through her healthcare career and her project management skills here at Axiom AI.
Hunter White is a leader, entrepreneur and Green Beret with an active TS/SCI security clearance, 10 years of proven experience as an Officer in the United States Army, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He was assigned to the 10th Special Forces Group, where he served as a ground force commander for multiple missions involving over 40 Special Forces members in a dynamic, fast – paced environment in Afghanistan, 2021. He also deployed with the 2nd Ranger Battalion to Afghanistan in 2016 were he served as a targeting operations officer against ISIS-K, Al-Qaeda, and the Taliban. Laura White started her career as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant, working alongside corneal and refractive surgeons, where her attention to detail helped her excel in both the clinical and surgical setting. From there, she attended Fayetteville State University where she graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Science in Biology. Her interest in biomedical research led her to East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine where she worked in a physiology lab focusing on urological and pelvic disease. She is currently finishing her MSc in biochemistry at the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs with an anticipated graduation date of December 2022. Her current research involves incorporation of electrostatic preorganization into the synthetic enzyme design process through utilization of Bader’s Quantum Theory of Atoms in Molecules. Through her research, Laura has gained extensive experience in technical computing and modeling software, both valuable skills that she is excited to bring to the Axiom team.
